A New Frontier in Paid Leave: Supporting Family Caregivers Providing Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care

 

ChildFocus partnered with UsAgainstAlzheimers to summarize the results of a comprehensive national online survey of adults who are employed and caring for a loved one living with Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia. The summary issue brief shares the findings of the survey in a highly accessible format, and highlights the role that paid leave plays in supporting caregivers who are providing care to family members. It also identifies additional ways that policymakers and others can address the needs of this growing population of caregivers.
