Foster & Kinship Parent Recruitment and Support Best Practice Inventory

In 2017, the Redlich Horwitz Foundation contracted with ChildFocus to develop a “best practice inventory” on key steps to finding and keeping amazing kin and non-kin foster parents. It includes approaches that are innovative, practical, and cost effective, and can be easily adapted by public and private child welfare agencies. ChildFocus currently partners with the Foundation to provide technical assistance to three New York counties to implement many of the best practice activities that are contained in the inventory.
