Jennifer Miller
Jennifer Miller is a social worker and child advocate with more than thirty years of experience working on behalf of children and families facing some of life’s most difficult challenges. Jennifer brings practical solutions, analytic capacity, and strong national networks to her work with foundations, public systems, and non profit agencies to help them succeed in their mission to create the best possible programs, practices and policies to help children and families thrive.
Prior to co-founding ChildFocus, Jennifer was a strategic consultant with Cornerstone Consulting Group where she led its child welfare policy and practice work. She also worked on a diverse portfolio of children’s issues at the Annie E. Casey Foundation (AECF). Jennifer began her human services career at the American Public Welfare Association, where she developed and analyzed federal legislation and regulations on child welfare issues and served as project manager for the National Association of Child Welfare Administrators (NAPCWA). Jennifer has a B.A. in Political Science from St. Lawrence University and a Masters in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania. She lives in Providence, Rhode Island, where she is also a mentor with Foster Forward.
