Lisa Pilnik

Lisa Pilnik, JD, MS, is co-founder and director of Child & Family Policy Associates, where she undertakes a wide range of short- and long-term consulting projects. Her recent work includes consulting for the National Network for Youth, the American Bar Association, and the Vera Institute of Justice, and other national and local organizations on improving practices and policies for youth involved in the child welfare, juvenile justice, and runaway and homeless youth systems. She previously served as the Deputy Executive Director of the Coalition for Juvenile Justice, a position in which she helped develop policy, promote best practices, and write reports and other resources on a range of status offense and juvenile justice issues. Lisa was also previously a Staff Attorney at the American Bar Association Center on Children and the Law, where she worked on multi-disciplinary, collaborative projects addressing the legal and other needs of children and youth. Lisa received her JD and her MS in Nonprofit Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania, and is admitted to the bar in the State of New York and the District of Columbia.
